Menega Cafe Jimbaran Bali

Roxuai : Menega Cafe Jimbaran Bali

Fresh seafood for sure. The family goes out to fish early in the morning and sell them at night. One of the locals' favorite here is the 'tracy fish'. We didn't get a taste of it when we went because they had ran out of it. The ambience and surroundings are very romantic. Tables are literally on the sands and each tables are lit by several candles. If you'd told them you're on a honeymoon when you've made reservation, they'll put you on a table that's only ten steps away from the water.

Go there for dinner. You're gonna have the most relaxing dinner in your lifetime. While waiting for your food, you can have good conversation with friends, or make new friends, and listen to a small ensamble of guitars. Or you can walk around by the beach.

Favorite Dish: Clams with their special sauce. The sauce has a very unique taste. The fish are also very good.

Poppies Lane 2 Kuta Bali

Roxuai : Poppies Lane 2 Kuta Bali

Poppies Lane 2 has a vibrant nightlife unlike Poppies Lane 1, which has just a few bars and clubs and restaurants. The area of Poppies Lane near JL Legian is the favorite of mostly australian and european tourists and a smattering of asians and they tend to hang around the famous clubs and bars here like Alleycats, Bagusn Pub, The Steps, Piggy's Bar, Twice Bar and more, before hitting the dancefloors at the clubs on Jalan Legian like Sky Lounge or Vi Ai Pi or Bounty. Gets busy from 9 pm until midnight.

along the 3 alleyways that connect JL Pantai Kuta to JL Legian aside from the main roads, Poppies Lane 2 is the most popular of the backpacker alleys and The Alley starts just before the beachwalk mall in JI Pantai Kuta and zig zags along and it has a side entrance to the beach walk mall along the alley and proceeds to JL Legian where the exit is. Near JL Pantai Kuta are mostly the assorted souvenir shops that sells assorted souvenir items and crafts and some sprinkling of bars and then a number of budget hotels, Inns, Guesthouses and then lots of restaurants, sports bars, bars and pubs and convenience store as it goes near the entrance to JL legian. The alleyway has a more vibrant nightlige than Poppies Lane 1.

Dress Code: casual, flip flops and beachwear are allowed

Ganesha Cafe Jimbaran Bali

Roxuai : Ganesha Cafe Jimbaran Bali

Ganesha was located just by the seaside. How fabulous! This restaurant has two sitting places, once is inside the building, the other is on the sand, by the beach. To get a full experience eating here, make sure you get your table on the sand. They serve fresh seafood, and cook it in 2 ways: grilled or non-grilled (fried, sauce, etc). Non-grilled items are more expensive than the grilled. You order your food before you come in to the restaurant. They weight them and ask you how you want them to cook the seafood.

Ganesha Cafe Jimbaran Bali
Personally, I did not have a nice experience eating here. The food are expensive.. waaayy to expensive. And the taste was just ok, nothing was that special. The crab we ordered was too skinny, we could barely get the meat. The view was not that great either because the beach was too dark for you to stroll around the beach and was not that clean. The only good thing there was the live band. They went around the tables to sing, and sang songs that we requested.

Favorite Dish: Hm... the calamari & fish were good.

Kuta Bali Bakery

Roxuai : Kuta Bali Bakery

One of my favorite places to have lunch is at Bali Bakery on Jalan Raya Kuta. This is a local bakery with cafĂ© and small buffet. Range of prices. Good to pick up a snack on the way to beach or shops. Had a metal detector machine that we had to walk through! lol. They offer daily menu specials, and then an ample choice from their menu. As you can tell from the name, it is also a bakery with plenty of pastries to choose from. They even make wedding cakes! And of course wedding cakes. The also have a Tea Time specials. This restaurant is a great place to relax, with a great menu at affordable Prices, both Western or Local food is good in here, the coffee is also great, and the cakes are superb. Nice and close to kuta and legian area as well

Kuta Beach Bali

Roxuai : Kuta Beach Bali

The main destination of all of Bali is the world famous Kuta Beach, which was formerly the favorite destination of hipsters and backpackers in the 1970's and 80's and the crowd is now more mixed, Kuta beach is a golden, rough sand stretch of beach starting from the northern end of the Ngurah Rai international Airport up to the Seminyak area, about 7 kilometers (4 miles) long. there are many beach activities to do besides swimming and tanning and there are a lot of hawkers, touts and locals selling various wares along the beach and also offer surfing lessons. the more thorough water sports activities lie along the Tanjung Benoa area east of Kuta beach near Nusa Dua. be careful when swimming here as the beach has tall waves and riptides as it is still more of a surfing spot rather than a swimming spot.

Kuta beach located in southwestern Bali just minutes from the airport lies Kuta. One of the world's most famous beaches, Kuta first attracted Western surfers with its world renowned surf break followed closely behind by sun worshipers and party goers attracted to its wide stretches of white sandy beach and budget accommodations, cheap restaurants and exciting night life. In the last few years, Kuta has developed into one of the most dynamic resort areas in Asia.  Offering something for every one - whether you are a family traveling with children, single, or on your honeymooners, you will find something to like about Kuta. Even if you stay in another part of Bali, a visit to Kuta is a must, if you do not visit Kuta you have not been to Bali.

Besides doing the traditional surfing, which made kuta beach famous and tired of swimming in the strong currents of the beach, you can just hang around and get a tan or a henna tattoo at the beach as an alternative to swimming and surfing.
