Location of Legian beach is adjacent to the Kuta Beach in the North. It's no wonder when the ambiance and atmosphere is almost similar to the Kuta Beach although the visitor is not as many as Kuta Beach has. Beside jogging, you can sit sweetly or swimming, cycling activity is perfect for enjoying the natural beauty of the beach and surroundings. Legian beach is probably the second most popular area with visitors after Kuta because of its close association with beach life and its parties. Indeed, one of Legian’s main attractions is its extravagant night life. Another attraction is the white sandy beach filled with tanned wannabe celebrities.

Located between the famous surfing Mecca, Kuta, and middle-upper class hangouts, Seminyak, Legian is a recreational place where one can shop, swim or go to a spa. Legian Beach is one of the famous beaches in Bali along with Double Six Beach which is actually just the northern part of Legian Beach. Since it has fewer crowds and lower tides Legian is just the perfect place to get lazy. If you’re looking for a place to stay with a limited budget, Legian is the perfect option in spite of its strategic location and is perhaps less chaotic than its neighbour Kuta, yet still gives lends a party atmosphere because some of Bali hippest bars and lounges are located in this area.

The beach starts from Melasti to Werkudara Street, and since there is no public transport access there's a sidewalk stretch from Legian Beach Hotel to Jayakarta Hotel. Legian Beach gives you more of a resort feel and offers more beach activities than normal. You can go for a swim, take a surfing lesson, go canoeing in certain months, play beach volleyball or maybe just lie and soak up the sun. The main visit of any tourist is to experience the Kuta and Legian Beach. This is a very long stretch of flat and wide beach which goes from Kuta to the south all the way to Legian to the north. The beach is full of tourists, activities, sports etc and it is very nice to do your beach activities and sports here.

Restaurant in the heart of Seminyak, 200 mtrs from the beach, surounded by the best hotels, villas and spas and providing a great atmosphere and service with what they hope you will find to be exceptional food. Now at last after so many requests...a real breakfast in Bali.. they have real bacon, real illy coffee, real sausages, thick toast inc. VEGEMITE etc. and are open from 7:30 in the mornings so if you are tired of bad hotel breakfasts

A lunch menu with a diverse selection from Fish and Chips, the famous Burger Full and Salads to some interesting and Authentic Indonesian foods made completely on site and not from a packet like most do. Dinner is served on a large plate with exceptional presentation and a tast to match, well above that expected but justified by the large amount of reviews on other sites. Illy Coffee is standard and the wide selection of beers really is served at an ice cold temprature and all the juices are fresh from the fruit and blended at time of serving to your wishes.

There are so many to choose from but all are of the highest standard and well above the normal for Bali, this restaurant gets rave reviews and you can see why . Just try and see for yourself

This used to be the old Ramayana Bridge Restaurant before they renovated and updated the place. Now it is a lovely modern ambient restaurant that has great food and staff. Where it once had a wall partly protecting it from the road it is all open which, when eating at peak times gives you lots of interesting driving techniques to watch as the traffice all try to get around that tight area by the Kuta market. There are welcome cold towels on arrival and warm "welcome bread rolls"

Gabah Restaurant and Bar is located in the heart of the tourist zone which makes it a significant restaurant to visit when we are here. When we enter the restaurant, we are greeted with quiet ambience which provides us with extra peacefulness when we dine. The most famous set meal in the restaurant is meant for four persons. Whenever this dish is served, it will be comes with a line of waitress and waiter who trumpet the set meal out from the kitchen to the table. As a customer there, you might experience this scene a multiple of times if you stay there for quite a while.

Since I came in 2, therefore it does not seem advisable for me to order the famous dish. Instead, I order a set meal which is meant for 2 persons.

There is a substantial menu split into sections pizza, Indonesian, Western plus a good cocktail & wine list. Gone are the days of rock music blaring out from restaurants there was very pleasant background music quiet enough to be able to chat but loud enough that you arent listening to the next tables conversation. A little more expensive than many of the smaller restaurants but still very reasonable we paid approx $AU40 on each visit we had a glass of wine each plus a diet coke meal & dessert and came away feeling very satisfied.
