Starbucks is the most popular coffee house chain in the world and it has many branches around bali and about 5 branches spread around the kuta area, namely at JI Pantai kuta in Hard Rock Hotel, At JI Kartika Plaza, at the Ngurah Rai Airport, Along JI Raya Kuta, at the Beachwalk Mall. Do I need a thorough introduction?.  Being the second largest coffee growing country in the world, here in Indonesia, Starbucks competes with other international and local coffee houses like Gloria Jeans Coffee, Black Canyon Coffee and KopiTiam for a slice of the coffee culture and is not the number one Coffee House Chain in Indonesia.

We tried their branch at the Hard Rock Hotel Arcade in JI Pantai Kuta just across our hotel the Grand Inna Kuta.

Presently, they have several branches in Bali and we tried their branch at the Arrival area of the Ngurah Rai International Airport. Kopitiam started in Malaysia in the 1960's as a coffee place specializing in Coffee and local meals like Kaya Toasts, cendol, nasi lemak, Laksa, sandwiches and more and since the 1980's have branches around indonesia.
