Ombak di tempat ini tidak sebesar Uluwatu, tetapi karena berada di sisi selatan-barat pulau yang sama, maka likasi ini juga memiliki gugusan karang dengan tingkat bahaya yang sama. Balangan terletak hanya sedikit ke arah utara dari pantai yang sekarang paling ramai di pulau Bali, yaitu pantai Dreamland. Untuk bisa sampai ke tempat ini saja sudah merupakan sebuah petualangan. Green Bowl terletak di ujung selatan pulau Bali. Pantai ini sangat menarik bagi mencintai pantai yang tenang & eksotis, tentu juga yang tidak keberatan untuk berjalan ratusan langkah menuruni tebing untuk bisa sampai ke pantai terpencil ini. Di bawah akan terlihat beberapa gua kelelawar yang menambah pesona yang unik. Green Bowl memiliki ombak yang konsisten sangat tinggi, dengan arus laut selatan yang sangat kuat. I love this place! Very nice (and big) place, cool crowd, hugeee variety of music. Whenever I go to Bali, Sky Garden is always the first in my to-do list. The FDC is pretty cheap too!. Very very recommended for you who want a great rooftop experience and different choices of music.The rooftop of the famous Legian 61 buidling in JL Legian is the main party venue of Bali. Legian 61 is the hotspot of partying but the roof top Legian Sky Garden 61 (oficially caled Sky Garden Rooftop Lounge) at the top of the six story buidling is the most packed of them all as this is where most of the action for foreigners, particularly the young and hip australians and other caucasians and a smattering of Japanese, chinese and koreans go to.

This multilevel palace of flash flirts with height restrictions from its rooftop bar where all of Kuta twinkles around you. Look for top DJs, a ground-level cafe and paparazzi wannabes. Munchers can enjoy a long menu of bar snacks and meals (salads, sandwiches, pastas and the like). Most, however, roam from floor to floor posing with posers and having a blast. Despite the gloss, it can get quite rowdy at night when Kuta starts thumping.

The Sky Garden top floor buffet is impressive, a mouth-watering display of barbecue sauced roast chicken, assortments of salads and pastas, and smoking skewers on a blazing grill. There are many seating options to choose from, with comfortable padded benches and long tables around the edge if you’re in for the view. Or, for more mingling you can opt for the long table in the centre under a single tree with bar stool-like seats. Behind, a large projector screen plays action movies with captions, with music provided by the DJ. Legian has a pretty impressive skyline, something we hadn’t realised until we made a trip here.

The rooftop is always crammed full of people and many drunk chicks and local indonesian girls dance at the ledge in the middle of the rooftop garden. there are many tables and chairs around the place but since it is packed full of people standing, you can hardly move as you dance to the live DJ hits of Trance, House, Club, RNB, Hip Hop hits that starts at 6:00 pm to 3:00 pm everyday.

Music Type :

SkyGarden is normally house, Bradys is R&B, and Skydome has major international DJs coming in on a Fri and Sat performing a range of different styles.

Average Drink Prives :

Drinks vary in Price but before midnight price where most drinks are 20000 RP cheaper. Most popular Drinks after midnight are Sunset Drinks 75000 RP, Triple Fruit Shakers 90000, Triple Smirnoff Chiller 90000 RP.

Christmas Lights in Nagoya Japan

Christmas Lights in Nagoya, Japan : Walking past Nagoya station we noticed herds of people waiting (camera in hand) for something in front of Nagoya station. Curious as we are, we move up the stairs to find out what’s going on. Right at that moment the whole station lights up with beautiful Christmas lights everywhere, hiding in trees, in flowers, in bears and on part of the skyscraping twin towers of the station. People don’t really celebrate Christmas in Japan (I mean it’s not even a day off!) but I’ve found more than enough Christmas lights all over Japan so far (even in Inuyama) to keep my Christmas spirit going.

However, one thing Japan does do extremely well at Christmas time is illuminations! They may be more to do with winter than Christmas, but that hardly seems to matter. There is something so incredibly beautiful and Christmassy about walking through these elaborately lit parks and grottoes full of sparkling trees and fantastical glittering constructions.

This year I’ve only managed to visit two sets of illuminations, each very different from the other. This year’s Nagoya illuminations are located outside the huge JR station building and can be reached by taking the escalator to the second floor and walking out to the balcony overlooking the street. This display is definitely a child-oriented affair. The walkway is lined with tree shapes covered in lovely blueish-white lights. The effect is like walking down a sparkling snowy avenue minus the snow.

Getting There:

Nagoya is just under 2.5 hours from Hiroshima by shinkansen and costs around 14,030 yen for a reserved seat. Alternatively, several night buses go from Hiroshima to Nagoya. The night bus takes around 8.5 hours and costs 8,400 yen.

To get to the Nagoya Winter Illuminations: From the Kintetsu or JR line stops, enter the JR Station building. Head for the gold clock in the centre of the building and take one of the escalators behind it to the next floor. Walk straight out the doors and you’re there.

To get to Nabana no sato: From Nagoya, take the JR or Kintetsu Line to Kuwana station. Exit the train station and go to the bus station. The bus timetable for Nabana no sato is located next to the ticket office. There are at least two buses an hour. The last bus from Nabana no sato back to Kuwana leaves at around 9:20 p.m.

The concept of the restaurant, besides the shrimp of coz, the movie forest gump itself! They even show the movie at the restaurant. The first thing you see when you past it is a big cabinet giving you displays of the food, of course the food isnt real its plastic, but they give you a display of some of the food you get so you know what you are eating which is a good idea. Plus you also see the big shrimps at the front on both sides of the entrance. When you walk in its like a tour you go through these little like walk ways with all information about the movie called Forest Gump which that is why the restaurant is named after the movie, so it gives you some infomation that maybe you never new before.

There's a 4 types of food that made with shrimp which is, fried shrimp ( like tempura ? ;p ), popcorn shrimp, shrimp in skewers, and shrimp ball. This dish served with french fries, coleslaw, and 3 types of sauce which is tartar sauce, mayonnaise and the sour sweet sauce ( I'm not sure what sauce is that ;p ). The four of it was taste nice and fresh. But what i like the most is the shrimp ball. Crispy outside, but moist and savory inside. Yum! Besides their great and large portion of food, they also shares a very unique ordering system. As seen in the picture, when we want to order, we just lift the plate into red with the signage "Run Forrest Run", and the waitress will come to you to take your order. Very efficient we might say :).

Fantastic atmosphere staff have energy enthusiasm and great sense of humours. good food a little expensive in bali terms. but... so enjoyed it that it's well worth the extra $$$!!! If you don't enjoy having a joke or fun don't bother if you like fun new experience it's a must do once at least. Had a good experience with their service and food earlier at The Curve, so we decided to have our lunch there. It's located outside of the Sunway Pyramid main entrance, so you will need to make your way out the shopping mall and it is on the left side as you exit. You will never miss it.

The Bali International Terminal is located on the third level of the Ngurah Rai International Airport. I've taken some pictures to show what it looks like now as of late 2013. This will help as a rough guide to know your way around the airport.. The newly reopened International Wing of the Ngurah Rai International Airport is still on finishing touches as such in december 2013, when we were there, there were only 2 International Duty Free Stores Present, the Duty Free Shoppers (DPS) and Dufry Duty Free.

Dufry Duty recently had a presence in Bali since July 2013 and unlike the larger DPS which has a large Duty Free Mall in Denpasar, only has a large store at the International Departure area of the Airport. you would not miss this as the entrance to the departure gates all pass by the Dufry Duty Free Shop. It has a total retail area of 2,200sq m, offering a duty free assortment that includes perfumes & cosmetics, liquor, tobacco and confectionery & fine food and liqour section.

Dufry is the competitor of the Duty Free Shoppers (DPS) along the Asia Pacific Area.

What to buy: all the duty free items you can think off like wine, cognac, cigarettes, chocolates, perfumes, clothes, handicrafts and a lot more

Like what i've said, the main party place of Kuta and Bali is at JL legian area and the main Beach Road (JL Pantai Kuta) has a more sedate nightlife as only a few good bars in in there and the most famous is the Iconic Hard Rock Cafe Bali, located in the entrance of the Hard Rock Hotel Bali.

I love this place. The bartenders, waiters and waitresses are so friendly that they don't just serve you with a smile. They strike a friendly conversation with you. I was here for some drinks with a friend on our first night in Bali. After dinner, we headed straight to the Rock Shop to buy some souvenirs from this beautiful island. Got me a Hard Rock Bali shirt.

During the day, it serves as a restaurant serving various meals that hard rock is known for and starting at around 9:00 pm, it becomes a bar and there are live bands playing with no cover charge starting at 10:30 pm to 1:00 am everyday. this place is for avid rockers and curious foreigners and more of the older set rather than the younger set in the JL Legian Area. the entrance of the Hard Rock Cafe is beside the Rock Shop of the Hard Rock Hotel.

The venue features a main dining area upstairs which is open for lunch and dinner, while the lower stage area and bar sets the atmosphere for guests who wish to dine with an attitude. Hard Rock Cafe Bali has a 450-seat capacity and nightly live entertainment staged in front of a stained-glass Elvis image.

Next to the Cafe is a merchandise store, the Rock Shop, where you can buy official quality Hard Rock Bali T-shirts and collectible pins. One-of-a-kind Rock T-shirts designed by artists like Bon Jovi, Green Day and Shakira make the T-shirts top shelf items. Specially designed Hard Rock collectibles include pins that display rock personalities, from the Spinning Bike and Rock House Series to the Roller Boogie collection.

To public visitors, those not staying at the adjacent Hard Rock Hotel Bali, parking may be a slight issue. Across the road is the Kuta Beach parking space that gets crowded during special concerts and events, therefore public transport is the most practical way to arrive.

Dress Code:

Casual, you can come in shorts and flip flops, there is no specific dress code. You just have to be decent. As this is located near or quite accessible to the beach, it's perfectly fine to come in shorts and tank tops, sneakers or flipflops. As long as you're dressed to have fun, go to Hard Rock.
