Luna2 private hotel is situated on prime beachfront, in the heart of fashionable Seminyak. A short stroll along the beach, towards the north or the south, leads you to a feast of popular hotels, restaurants and bars.
Just 20 minutes’ drive to Bali’s International Airport.

Luna2 mansion was designed by American architects David Wahl with interiors by owner and interior designer Melanie Hall.. Architecture Luna2 a private hotel is reminiscent of modernism in Europe and the United States. It is an architectural style that would be expected on South Beach in Miami, as the Seminyak Beach in Bali. Building taken out of the modernist style of the classical period and the location and the new environment, pushing in the future. While surprising at first, the building is now a pleasant surprise for residents and tourists, past the design limits of the traditional construction of mandatory standards. Luna2 private hotel combines local and imported materials according to their quality and commitment to the vision of design. The interior is imported Italian tile terrazzo chip factory with metallic silver, and is more durable, nonporous and more sophisticated than terrazzo paid locally.

Roxuai : Duty Free Store : Ngurah Rai International Airport Bali

The Bali International Terminal is located on the third level of the Ngurah Rai International Airport. I've taken some pictures to show what it looks like now as of late 2013. This will help as a rough guide to know your way around the airport.. The newly reopened International Wing of the Ngurah Rai International Airport is still on finishing touches as such in december 2013, when we were there, there were only 2 International Duty Free Stores Present, the Duty Free Shoppers (DPS) and Dufry Duty Free.

Dufry Duty recently had a presence in Bali since July 2013 and unlike the larger DPS which has a large Duty Free Mall in Denpasar, only has a large store at the International Departure area of the Airport. you would not miss this as the entrance to the departure gates all pass by the Dufry Duty Free Shop. It has a total retail area of 2,200sq m, offering a duty free assortment that includes perfumes & cosmetics, liquor, tobacco and confectionery & fine food and liqour section.

Dufry is the competitor of the Duty Free Shoppers (DPS) along the Asia Pacific Area.

What to buy: all the duty free items you can think off like wine, cognac, cigarettes, chocolates, perfumes, clothes, handicrafts and a lot more

Like what i've said, the main party place of Kuta and Bali is at JL legian area and the main Beach Road (JL Pantai Kuta) has a more sedate nightlife as only a few good bars in in there and the most famous is the Iconic Hard Rock Cafe Bali, located in the entrance of the Hard Rock Hotel Bali.

I love this place. The bartenders, waiters and waitresses are so friendly that they don't just serve you with a smile. They strike a friendly conversation with you. I was here for some drinks with a friend on our first night in Bali. After dinner, we headed straight to the Rock Shop to buy some souvenirs from this beautiful island. Got me a Hard Rock Bali shirt.

During the day, it serves as a restaurant serving various meals that hard rock is known for and starting at around 9:00 pm, it becomes a bar and there are live bands playing with no cover charge starting at 10:30 pm to 1:00 am everyday. this place is for avid rockers and curious foreigners and more of the older set rather than the younger set in the JL Legian Area. the entrance of the Hard Rock Cafe is beside the Rock Shop of the Hard Rock Hotel.

The venue features a main dining area upstairs which is open for lunch and dinner, while the lower stage area and bar sets the atmosphere for guests who wish to dine with an attitude. Hard Rock Cafe Bali has a 450-seat capacity and nightly live entertainment staged in front of a stained-glass Elvis image.

Next to the Cafe is a merchandise store, the Rock Shop, where you can buy official quality Hard Rock Bali T-shirts and collectible pins. One-of-a-kind Rock T-shirts designed by artists like Bon Jovi, Green Day and Shakira make the T-shirts top shelf items. Specially designed Hard Rock collectibles include pins that display rock personalities, from the Spinning Bike and Rock House Series to the Roller Boogie collection.

To public visitors, those not staying at the adjacent Hard Rock Hotel Bali, parking may be a slight issue. Across the road is the Kuta Beach parking space that gets crowded during special concerts and events, therefore public transport is the most practical way to arrive.

Dress Code:

Casual, you can come in shorts and flip flops, there is no specific dress code. You just have to be decent. As this is located near or quite accessible to the beach, it's perfectly fine to come in shorts and tank tops, sneakers or flipflops. As long as you're dressed to have fun, go to Hard Rock.

The Architects

The architects are WOHA from Singapore. Borrowing heavily from Carlo Scarpa, they have created a design that is simple in planning, yet very rich and stylish in details. The basic forms are rectilinear, augmented by careful detailing to give depth to the structures. Courtyards, sun-screens and gazebos are designed to catch the light and provide visual interest, besides serving as tranquil hideaways for the guests.

As with many Bali high-end resorts, the location is purposely remote and difficult to find. This small road seemed to go on forever before you reach the resort.

The main entrance porch - typically understated, except that here you have a whole coterie of hotel staff to greet you upon arrival.

The Alila Uluwatu is a resort which once you arrive, you don’t want to leave. The rates start at around USD 650 per night, so it is not cheap to enjoy such luxury - but it is definitely worth the money for the location, spectacular design, exclusivity and service. I would definitely stay here if I could afford it !
